Abstract
This paper presented the optimal culture conditions for the in vitro embryo germination and proliferation in vitro of Anoectochilus chapaesis. The results were as follows: the seeds germinated well in Kyoto medium without growth regulators, and new shoots were differentiated from protocorm when 10% CM were added. In a second experiment, the stems were then used as explants and produced new shoots best in the medium of Hyponex l +6-BA 1 mg/L+NAA (0.01)/L;the best proliferation medium was Hyponex l + BA 0.5 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L;and the best rooting medium was Hyponex l+6-BA 0.05mg/L+NAA0.1 mg/L.
