Abstract
Polymeric ferric sulfate having different amount of H2SO4 that is added after PFS has been made, are prepared by FeSO4·7H2O,NaClO3,H2SO4.Water bath experiments of the determination of pH value and conductivity are used to further discuss the effect of the H2SO4 to the stability of PFS during its storage to deal with the Weihe River water. The results showed that the pulsing of the H2SO4 increase the stability of polymeric ferric sulfate. The best amount of H2SO4 is 5 mL.Deal with the Weihe River water the effluent pH value to meet the requirements of pH = 6~9,and the turbidity of the water is about 1 mg/L,turbidity removal is more than 80%.
