Abstract
Application of polymeric ferric silicate-chloride containing boron(PFSCB) was investigated. The experimental results show that the remaining turbidity in the simulative wastewater treated by PFSCB decreases to 1 6-4 0 NTU when pH of the wastewater is 7-10 and dosage of PFSCB is 30-100 mg/L.When wastewater from regenerated paper making is treated by PFSCB, the turbidity, color and CODcr removal ratios are 99 4%,93 8% and 96 4% respectively .The flocculation ability of PFSCB is superior to that of polymeric ferric silicate-chloride,polymeric ferric sulfate and ferric chloride.
