Abstract
A new inorganic polymer flocculant for polymeric ferric silicate sulfate to be prepared:polymerized silicic acid can be prepared by polymerizing water glass in the acid solution and then being added with ferric sulfate. The primary influence factor of stability and flocculation behaviour were optimized. The optimum conditions were as follows:polymerization in 27 ℃, SiO\-2 %=3.O %, pH=4~5,and in the course of 2~4 hours;ageing time is 2~3 hours in the condition of Si/Fe\-3\++=5(mole rate). The experiment shows that the flocculation behaviour to the waste water whose pH value is 1~6 is good. In waste-water treatment , the stability of the product and the result prove satisfactory.
