Abstract
The indoor air in some new decorated houses in Shijiazhuang was selected to sample, formaldehyde, benzene, methylbenzene, dimethylbenzene and TVOC were analyzed by spectrophotometry and gas chromatography. The results showed that formaldehyde, benzene, methylbenzene, dimethylbenzene and TVOC in the indoor air of new decorated houses exceeded the standard in some degree. The methylbenzene pollution was more serious, and its largest multiples of exceeding standard was 17.7. The concentrations of formaldehyde, benzene, methylbenzene, dimethylbenzene and TVOC in bedrooms were generally higher than that of living rooms, the ratio of exceeding standard of formaldehyde was significantly higher than living room, which was about two times than the latter. The concentrations of formaldehyde in indoor air continuously increased with the confined time. Finally a series of corresponding measures and proposals were proposed.
