Abstract
Objective To analysis the indoor air quality in Nanning and to investigate the species, sources and distribution of contaminants. Methods The concentration of formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds( TVOC) in bedroom, living room and study room were detected by formaldehyde detector and organic gas detector. Results The qualified rates of TVOC in the study room, bedroom and living room were 97. 6%,92. 9%and 100%,respectively; the qualified rates of formaldehyde were 23. 8%,26. 2% and 71. 4%,respectively. The pollution of formaldehyde in the study room was the most serious, the highest concentration of formaldehyde was0. 901 mg / m3,which was 9. 0 times higher than the national standard limits, and the rates of formaldehyde exceeding the standard limits of 1 to 2 times,2 to 3 times and more than 3 times were 21. 4%,31. 0% and 23. 8%,respectively. Conclusion The concentration of formaldehyde and TVOC in indoor air was general high, which would be effectively reduced by increasing indoor space and ventilation.
