Study of PPH in Management of Internal Rectal Prolapse(A Report of 46 Cases)

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the application of PPH(procedure for prolapsed and hemorrhoids) in the patients of internal rectal prolapse. Methods 46 cases of internal rectal prolapse by PPH were analyzed retrospectively,the purse-string suture position was ensured by defecography and digital examination. Results Postoperative symptoms of 46 cases was relieved significantly and hospital stay was 4.8 days,and no serious complications occurred. Conclusion PPH is more effective for the patients with internal rectal prolapse.
