Abstract
Objective To discuss the surgical indication and treatment of complications of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH). Methods Ten patients,8 patients with Ⅲ-Ⅳ degree hemorrhoid,2 patients had mixed hemorrhoid with rectal prolapse,were referred for PPH. Results The symptoms of bloody stool and rectal prolapse were disappered in all patients after PPH operation.Two patients had intermittent short time pain after PPH operation,the pain vanished after treatment.Conclusion PPH is an useful method for treatment of rectal prolapse and serious hemorrhoid.Comparing with the traditional method,PPH has the obvious advantage and it should be widely clinical use.
