Abstract
A method for the determination of selenium from selenium-enriched malt by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry(HG-AFS) has been developed. The effects of the instrumental and chemical parameters on atomic fluorescence signal of selenium were discussed and optimum conditions were recommended. The effects of digest reagents on digestion of samples and the interference from foreign ions on selenium were briefly discussed.Under the optimum conditions, the detection limit for selenium was 0.167μg/L,the relative standard deviation was 1.203%,and the liner ranger was 0~100μg/L.A total selenium content of(11.729~)32.746μg/g was detected from selenium-enriched malt by this method, and the recovery rate is(94.1%~101.6%).
