Investigation and Analysis of Irrational Drug Use in Prescriptions of the Out-patient of Our Hospital in 2008

Objective To improve the level of rational drug use in out-patient by investigate the situation of irrational drug use in out-patient.Methods 9854 prescriptions randomly selected from January to March,2009 in our hospital were investigated stochastically,in order to understand the situation of the irrational drug use and repeating medication in prescriptions,increasing the toxicity combined use of drugs,reduce the pharmacodynamics combined use of drugs,irrational solvent,drug unreasonable election,unreasonable usage and so on.Results 386 prescriptions is unreasonable,accounting for 3.92% of the whole prescriptions.Conclusion The application of out-patient drug in our hospital rational the whole,while it still exist some problems.In the same time,clinician and pharmacist need to study the pharmacy knowledge.
