Subfascial Endoscopic Perforater Vein Surgery in Treating Chronic Venous Ulceration of Lower Extremities

Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of subfascial endoscopic perforater vein surgery in treating venous ulceration of lower extremities.Methods: Between October 2007 and January 2009,21 patients(23 limbs) with venous ulceration of lower extremities received SEPS and saphenofemoral high ligation with stripping vein,5 limbs received external femoral vein valve repair,4 limbs received autologous skin graft surgery.Results: Superficial varicose in 23 limbs had disappears in postoperative,no complications,follow-up of from 4 to 18 months,there was no ulcer and superficial varicose recurrence.Conclusions: Subfascial endoscopic perforater vein surgery play an important part in treating venous ulceration of lower extremities,it is safe,effective,less injury and less complications,this approach may effectively reduce ulcer recurrence.
