Abstract
Objective To study the advantages and clinical efficacy of subfascial endoscopic perforater vein surgery in treating venous ulceration of lower extremities. Methods Between January 2008 and January 2010,12 patients(16 limbs,CEAP:C6) with venous ulceration of lower extremities received SEPS and saphenofemoral high ligation with strip-ping great saphenous vein(12 limbs received saphenofemoral high ligation with strip-ping great saphenous vein,4 limbs had received before admission),low molecular weight heparin anticoagulation was used for 2 to 3 days. Results Superficial varicose in 16 limbs had disappeared in postoperative, with no complications, followed up 2 to 12 months, there was no ulcer and superficial varicose recurrence. Conclusion SEPS played an important part in treating venous ulceration of lower extremities,it was safe, with effective, less injury and less complications, this approach may effectively reduce ulcer recurrence and improve the nutrition of skin disorders.
