Research on Low-Carbon Economy Development in Henan Province

Low-carbon economy is an economic development mode with low energy consumption,less pollution and less emission as the basic feature,its essence is efficient energy utilization,clean energy development and develop-ment of green GDP,its core is energy and emission reduction technology innovation,upgrading of the industrial structure,system innovation,human survival and development concept of fundamental transformation.Henan is emerging industry province and resources consumption province,the contradiction between economic development and resource environmental capacity is increasingly prominent,developing low-carbon economy is imperative.This paper utilizes the related data in the period of from 2000 to 2008 to indicate the necessity of developing low-carbon economy in Henan province,it analyze the development status and existed problems of Henan province low-carbon economy development,it puts forward the countermeasures of developing low-carbon economy.
