Abstract
Objective: To survey therapeutic effects of LiuWei DiHuang Tang and hormone in the treatment for primary nephrotic syndrome. Methods: Sixty patients were randomized into the treatment group and the control group. Both groups received low-salt, low high-protein diet, basic treatment of diuresis, protecting renal function and others, at the same time routine hormone, the treatment group took LiuWei DiHuang Tang, water decocted, one dose each day. Both groups were treated for three months. Results: Total effective rate of the treatment group was90.3%, higher than 83.3% of the control group, the difference presented statistical meaning(P0.05); the difference indicated statistical meaning in serum albumin and 24 hours urine albumin in both groups between before and after treating(P0.05); it also demonstrated statistical meaning after treating between both groups(P0.05). Conclusion: LiuWei DiHuang Tang and hormone are effective in the treatment for primary nephrotic syndrome.
