Abstract
SCL-90 is the result investigatcd among 423 students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 3 of two rural secondary schools in the Weiyuan County, Sichuan Province. The objective is to explore the mental state of rural secondary school students. The research has showed:(1)the mental health level of rural secondary school students is significantly lower than that of national norm for urban secondary school students; (2)the mental health level of rural secondary school students has obvious age traits, but no obvious sex difference.
