Schema in Interpretation

Schema describes how people's knowledge about the outside world is organised in the brain,which serves as a founda- tion for people to know and understand the things around them.This article analyses the relationship between schema and the process of listening comprehension in interpreting,points out that schema is an important foundation of professional skills in inter- pretation,and discusses the application of schema to the teaching and training of interpretation.
