Abstract
The young leaf of Camellia granthamina were used as explants in the tissue culture research. The effects of different combination of 6-BA,TDZ,KT,2,4-D and NAA on callus induction were investigated. The results indicated that the appropriate medium for callus induction was MS+2.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L NAA;MS+6-BA 2.5 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L medium respectively supplied with 2,4-D 0.5~2.5 mg/L,KT 0.5~2.5 mg/L,TDZ 0.1~0.5 mg/L,2,4-D and TDZ improved callus induction rate up to 100% and 94.8%,KT reduced callus induction;the appropriate medium for differentiation was MS+ 2.5 mg/L 6-BA + 0.02 mg/L TDZ + 0.05 mg/L NAA.
