Abstract

Effects of different plant hormone on callus induction and callus growth in cucumber were investigated by Orthogonal design. The main results that the medium for callus induction was MS+1.0 mg/L 6-BA+(1.0~1.5) mg/L KT+0.3 mg/L NAA+0.1 mg/L 2,4-D. The results also showed that the medium for callus growth was MS+6-BA1.5 mg/L+ NAA 0.3 mg/L. The adventitious shoots were placed on medium (MS+0.1 mg/L NAA) for root regeneration. The whole regenerated plants could be obtained in 40~60 days. In addition, some adventitious-buds were accompanied with the growth of callus.
