A Survey of College Students' Sex Education in China in Recent Ten Years

Adolescent students in college are becoming more and more active physically and mentally in terms of sex. Nowadays, college students' sex education is a hot issue in the academic circles in China.According to the research of the domestic scholars in recent years, sex education in college is not popularized and under a state of marginalization. While they teach students sex knowledge, teachers should pay attention to the education on sexual psychology, sexual ethics, sexual culture, sexual values as well as sexual aesthetics. Besides, teachers had better guide the students appropriately. There are many ways to give advice on sex, including offering compulsory or elective courses, psychological counseling and peer education. In addition, it is necessary to design and construct a mode of sex education with practical operability and stability. The current achievements provide useful reference for the sustainable development and deep research on college students' sex education. However, there is a very common phenomenon that Chinese scholars have similar research on college students' sex education without regional characteristics and target. Moreover, the way of study is very monotonous, and scholars seldom use the way of combining quality and quantity when doing research. Meanwhile, research value is not reflected fully. what's more,there is very little findings with high quality and the degree of specialization research group is not high.
