Investigation and thinking on the situation of education of sex health in Ningde Normal University

This paper makes a questionnaire survey on 500 college students to understand the situation of education of sex health among the students in Ningde Normal College so as to provide scientific basis for college education on sex health.The survey shows that 72.2% students do not have any course concerning sex education;more than 80.7% students feel insufficiency of knowledge of sex and their knowledge of sex is mainly gained from the Internet and magazines;more than 80% students regard lectures and education videos as the best forms of gaining knowledge of sex;98% students think it is necessary to open education courses and provide psychological counseling of sex,and most students accept being in love during college period and having premarital sex.The author concludes that the college students are open on sex however they lack enough knowledge of sex and good way of learning it.In order to protect students' physical and psychological health,the author suggests that the family,school and society should cooperate to popularize the sex health education which is based on pure sex education and combined with safe sex education.
