Abstract
his paper describes two new species of Oomyzus Rondani.They are parasitic wasps of lacewing flies Chrysops septempunctata Wesmael and Ch.sinica Tjeder respectively from Hubei Province,China.The type specimens are preserved in Jiangxi Agricultural University.Oomyzus hubeiensis sp.nov. (Figs.14)♀.Body lendth 1011 mm,metallic bluish green.Antennal pedicel equal to the first funicle in length.Club as long as the preceeding 2 funicles and 1/2 of the first funicle combined.OOL about as long as 15 OD.POL as long as or slightly shorter than OOL.Median carinae of propodeum and paraspiracular carinae wanting..Body length 086 mm.Antennal funicle 4 segments,F 1 round,others are subequal in length and slightly longer than wide,flagellum with longer hairs.This new species resembles Tetrastichus chrysopae (Crawford),but its female propodeal spiracles uncontiguous with anterior margin of the sclerite;the antennal club unequal to funicle in length.Holotype ♀,paratypes 29♀♀,11,Danjiangkou (326°N,1113°E),Hubei Province,Apr.May,1974.ZHAO JingZhao.Host Chrysopa septempunctata Wesmael (pupa).Oomyzus sinensis sp.nov. (Figs.57)♀.Body length 12 mm.This new species is similar to O.hubeiensis sp.nov.,but the female propodeum with a median carina and the first funicular segment of the male antennae not rounded.Holotype ♀,paratypes 7♀♀,6,Tianmen (306°N,1131°E),Hubei Province,May,1977.ZHAO JingZhao.Host Chrysopa sinica Tjeder (pupa).
