A NEW SPECIES OF EULOPHOMORPHA DODD (HYMENOPTERA:EULOPHIDAE:EULOPHINAE) FROM CHINA

This paper deals with description of a new species of Eulophomorpha from China. The type specimens are preserved in Department of Plant Protection, Jiangxi Agricultural University. Eulophomorpha clubiona Sheng et Wang, sp.nov. (Figs. 1～4) Female:Body length 1.49mm～1.62mm. Black with some bluish tinge; antenna yellow; legs, gaster and body hairs reddish brown. Eyes rather dense pilose. Antennal pedicel a little longer and wider than the first funicle joint; funicle joints gradually shortening and widening distal, the third about as long as wide. Propodeum with median carina and plica; the median carina ending at a raised sclerite like margin. Gaster slightly longer than thorax (55∶50), oval and pointed at end. Male: Body length 1.16mm. Gaster darker, about as long as thorax, oval and obtuse at end. Antennal pedicel and 3 funicle joints are subequal in length, on the basal part of each funicle joint with wheel hairs. This new species is similar to E. flavicornis  Dodd, but the anterior margin of scutellum is not so broad and arcuate; propodeum with plica; gaster oval, not lanceolate.
