A modified methods for epicanthus folds combined with double eyelid formation

Objective To explore a modified Methods for correction of double-upper-eyelid,and simultaneous correction of epicanthus.Methods Design the double-lid incision and design the improved Z incision at epicanthus.The correction of epicanthus folds and creating double-lid were operated in one stage.Evaluated its effect after operation.Results From Sep.of 2005 to Oct.of 2011,86 cases were operated and 61 cases were given follow-ups for 6～24 months.The epicanthus was corrected completely or mostly with inconspicuous postoperative scar.satisfactory aesthetic results were obtained.Conclusion This methods was dead against the cause of epicanthus,it is a simple and effective procedure,it can be widely used.
