Abstract
Objective To observe the curative effect and safety of Fengshizhengtong (antinociceptive from rheumatic disease)Pills in treating ankylosing spondylitis(AS). Methods Patients with AS in treatment group were treated by Fengshizhengtong Pills and those in control group by Sulfasalazine. The course of treatment was three months. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.7% and that of control group was 50.0%. The improvement rate of morning stiffness in treatment group was obviously higher than that in control group. Conclusions Fengshizhengtong Pills is effective and safe and can be used to treat ankylosing spondylitis.
