Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy on ankylosing spondylitis treated with Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:90 cases of ankylosing spondylitis were randomly divided into control group and treatment group ,45 cases in each one.In control group,simply western medicine was applied with sulfasalazine tablet.In treatment group,on the basis of the treatment as control group, traditional Chinese medicine was supplemented.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate was 97.78% in treatment group and was 51.11% in control group ,indicating significant difference in comparison(P0.01).Conclusion:Coordination of traditional Chinese medicine and sulfasalazine tablet presentssignificant efficacy on ankylosing spondylitis with less adverse response.This therapy is worthy to be promoted
