Detection and clinical significance of serum level of lysophosphatidic acid in patients with ovarian tumor

Abstract

Objective To study the serum levels of lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)in patients with ovarian tumor and its clinical significance.Methods Observe the proliferation ability of the ovarian cancer cell by LPA deal with;48 patients with ovarian tumor,20 patients with benign ovarian tumors and 14 normal women were subjected to detect the serum levels of LPA and for comparative analysis.Results LPA promotes cell proliferation showing a dose-dependency.Levels of serum LPA in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer were higher significantly than those of normal women and benign cases(P0.01).Conclusion LPA is related to the development of ovarian cancer.LPA may have a potential value for diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.
