Abstract

Objective:To establish an RP-HPLC method for quantitative determination of Ginkgolides in teas of Ginkgo biloba. Methods:The evaporation light scattering detector(ELSD) were employed. The analytical column was C18 column(4.6 mm× 250 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase was composed of methanol-tetrahydrofuran-water(25:10:65) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.Results:The logarithm value of sample size had a good linear relationship with the logarithm value of peak area when the sample size of ginkgolide A,B,C and bilobalide was 0.485~9.701 μg,0.460~9.204 μg,0.501~11.899 μg,0.935~18.703 μg respectively. The average recovery was 100.45%(RSD=2.79%),98.29%(RSD=2.90%),98.22%(RSD=2.53%),101.32%(RSD=1.81%) respectively. Conclusion:This method is sensitive, repeatable and suitable to determine the content of total Ginkgolides in teas of Ginkgo biloba.
