Fast determination of the starch content in potato tuber

Abstract
The content of starch in potato is determined by phenol hydrate-sulfuric,GB5009.9-2008 and reducing sugar analyzer.The result shows that the standard deviation of GB5009.9-2008 is,and the coefficient of variation is ;the standard deviation of phenol hydrate-sulfuric is 0.4319 and the coefficient of variation is 0.0479 ;the standard deviation of reducing sugar analyzer is 0.2770 and the coefficient of variation is 0.0328.The reducing sugar analyzer,especially,can determine potato starch content more conveniently and rapidly.
