Abstract
From Balzac's production to Malcouph's Openingup system theory, western Realism has been a kind of specific practicing process, as well as a contemporary discourse. It gave some inspiration to the study of Realistic literature in the developing countries. We should study in terms of native discourse instead of previous idealization of Realism.
