Abstract

Objective To compare and analyze the therapeutic efficacy of ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation(RFA) for the hepatic carcinoma. Methods The 40 tumors mass in 33 patients with hepatic carcinoma were treated with radiofrequency ablation.Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound were used to evaluate and followed-up efficacy of RFA.Results After RFA treatment, the complete ablation rate were 95% in the patients with the nodule 3cm and 79% in the patients with the nodule ≥ 3cm.The complete ablation rate were 86% for the patients with the single nodule and 75% for those with multiple nodules. Conclusion The complete ablation rate of RFA treatment on PHC are correlated to the size of the nodules.
