Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation(RFA) in hepatic cancers.Methods Total 253 patients with 384 tumors were treated with RFA.The lesion size was 1.1~8.5cm.All patients were followed up using Color Doppler,CT and AFP value postoperatively.Results Total 347 lesions were completely ablated.The total response was 90.3 %(347/384).Seven patients developed complications including 5 pleural effusion,1 liver abscess,1 biliary fistula.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided RFA is an effective minimally-invasive treatment technique for patients with malignant hepatic tumor.Standard operative procedure is the key point to prevent complications.
