Abstract
Objective: To observe antioxidative effects of ChaiHu DiGuPi Tang on NaOH-induced mice models with oral ulcer. Methods: Mice models were established and separated into: high [0.04 g/g(body weight)], moderate [0.02 g/g(body weight)] and low [0.01 g/g(body weight)] dose groups of ChaiHu DiGuPi Tang, positive control group of vitamin, normal control group and the model control group, eight mice each group, the mice received lavage for six days respectively, the contents of MDA, the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in oral mucosa of the mice were detected. Results: ChaiHu DiGuPi Tang groups were higher than the model group obviously in average healing speed of the ulcer(P0.05), ChaiHu DiGuPi Tang could decrease the contents of MDA in the tissue of the ulcer(P0.05), increase the activity of SOD and GSH-Px(P0.05). Conclusion: ChaiHu DiGuPi Tang owns certain therapeutic effects for oral ulcer, its mechanism might be related to antioxidative effects,
