Abstract

Objective To analyze the CT performance of celiac abscess and improve the CT diagnostic accuracy of celiac abscess. Methods To analyze the CT performance of 37 lesions in 28 consecutive patients with celiac abscess. Results 24 lesions presented the all of abscess with nonhomogeneous density, about 0.1~0.9 cm thick.Little air bubbles or air fluid levels inside of the abscess were seen in lesions. Conclusion CT scans might be accurate in locatable and quantitative diagnosis of abscess. The aggrandizement of the wall of abscess and the symptom of bubbles are the features.
