Abstract
The crankshaft is one of the most important parts in an internal combustion engine.Theory and practice show that destruction form of the crankshaft is bending fatigue and torsion damage.Fatigue failure may be caused by the alternating bending and torsion stress. This thesis takes the crankshaft of BN492 as the object, analyzing the single crankshaft crankpin's static stress and displacement, identifying the location of the danger point, checking the bend fatigue strength of the crankshaft.Last, analyzing the former 12 steps free modal on the whole crankshaft, obtained the natural frequencies and mode shapes to offer the reference to the designing and advancing of the crankshaft.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
