Abstract
To investigate the relationship between Essential Hypertensive and polymorphism of angiotensinⅡtypeⅠreceptor(AT1R) gene A1166C in Kazakans of Xinjiang.Polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) methods were used to detect the A1166C polymorphism of AT1R gene in Kazakans including 200 patients with hypertension and 220 normotensive controls. The genotype frequencies of AA、AC、CC and the A/C allele frequencies were not significant differences in hypertension group compared with normotensive group, meanwhile, the frequencies of men and women's C allele were not significant differences. Conclusions There was no significant association found between the A1166C polymorphism of AT1R gene and essential hypertension in Kazakans of Xinjiang.
