Abstract

Cellulose tri(4-methylbenzoate)(CTMB) were synthesized, and coated on 3-aminopropyl silica gel.Their optical resolution abilities as chiral stationary phase(CSPs) were evaluated for high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).13 chiral compounds were resolved on the CSPs in the normal phase, and 9 chiral compounds could be separated. The CTMB CSPs show an excellent ability of resolving chiral compounds.
