Abstract
Objective: To study the application of algoplaque film in the treatment of diabetic foot. Methods: 18 patients with diabetic foot were randomly divided into control group and observation group, each group for 9 cases, observation group were sterilized by conventional wound debridement, covered algoplaque film dressing according to the situation for 1 to 2 times a week; control group were given leifunuer solution soaked gauze in the affected area, compared the effection after treatment. Results: Two groups were treated for 7 days, the observation group had 6 cases healing up, 2 cases markedly improved and 1 case had a little changed, no case ineffective; the control group healed in 4 cases, 2 cases markedly improved and 2 cases had little better than before, 1 case ineffective. At 10 days after treatment, the observation group,3 cases improved markedly and all the healing; control group, 4 effective and a little better cases had 3 cases improved healing,1 case still needed treatment, one case of invalid cases improved after treatment. The observation were significantly superior than the control group, the difference was statistically significant( P0.05). Conclusion: Algoplaque film applied to the treatment of diabetic foot has alleviate pain, can reduces in patients with wound healing time, reduces the workload of nurses, eases the financial burden on patients with family.
