A Review for Four Major Economic Zones′Development Since 11th Five-year Plan and An Outlook for 12th Five-year Plan

Since the 11th Five-year Plan,China's overall strategy for regional economic development has been implemented steadily,and the coordination of the four major zones' economic development has been enhanced.At the threshold of 12th Five-year Plan,the external environment for regional developing has changed dramatically.It is stated in this paper that regional economic development should take constructing harmonious society as a goal,enriching the citizen as a standing point.According to the various practical conditions,we should take several measurements such as making an innovation on the mold for regional development and cultivating core competences in order to achieve sound and rapid development of the four major zones while enhancing the coordination of regional development.
