Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To study the influence of pH value of the solution on the extraction of active components from Salvia miltiorrhiza and Panax notoginseng.METHODS:The solutions with different pH value were used to extract active components from S.mihiorrhiza and P.notoginseng separately or together. The contents of tanshinol, tanshinone ⅡA and notoginsenoside R1 were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:The acidic solution was an advantage for the extraction of tanshinol, while neutral or alkali environment was suitable for the extraction of tanshinone ⅡA and notoginsenoside R1.Based on an overall consideration of index, the pH value for mixed extraction of S.mihiorrhiza and P.notoginseng was 7.0.CONCLUSION:The results can provide reference for mixed extraction of S.mihiorrhiza and P.notoginseng.
