Abstract

The educational thought of YAN Fu is in the combination of education with practice in pursuit of saving the nation as his aim,in appreciation of communication of the Chinese culture and the western culture as the basic features of his research,and in establishing the theory of Illuminating the People's Wisdom as his core of the thought.His thought is not only out of the cotemporary educational thought cognition but also his educational concept and practice make great influence on the modern educational development in China.
