A Study of Instruction Beliefs of Chinese Ancient Academics and the Humanism

Abstract

As academy education marks the beginning of new development of Chinese ancient education, this paper describes the new instruction belief in academics of Song Dynasty which brings vitality to the education while it indicates that humanism as well as morality education should be the focus of education. Because of its deeply historical influence to Chinese education, the study of academies in Song Dynasty has its pedagogical and practical implications nowadays.
