A Further Study of Educational Beliefs on Chinese Ancient Academy and Its Humanism Spirit

Confucian's educational belief of educating people with morality,excluded by the Governmental Education,was not workable or necessary when the Governmental Education had been privileged until it got unprecedented criticism at the peak development period of the Southern Song Dynasty.The revival and reestablishment of such Confucian's educational belief served as the key point for abolishment of the drawbacks brought by educational system in the song Dynasty.It was the Humanism Spirit embodied in human-oriented educational belief as well as the moral educational belief that made the ancient society full of vitality and the Ancient Academy continued unabated for thousands of years.The unparalleled educational belief and humanism spirit then became the trend of thought in education which was powerful and characterized by distinctive age style.
