SCL-90 Based Study of Freshmen's Mental Health and Influence Factors——Take the freshmen of A University in Xi'an as an Example

Abstract

As a special social group,contemporary college students' mental health has been a concern of the whole society.In order to know well the state of their mental health and find out the influence factors,the SCL-90 self-rating scale is used in the study.The subject of the study is the 346 freshmen in a university in Xi'an.Based on the analysis,the study concludes that the source of the students and the gender difference are two major influence factors in affecting students' mental health.In addition,some measures and suggestions are put forward to promote the freshmen's mental health in the paper.
