A Study on Mental Health of Freshmen in Independent College

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To know psychological characteristics of freshmen in independent College,and provide scientific evidence to improve the mental health of freshmen in Independent College.METHODS 4276 freshmen were investigated by SCL-90 and UPI.RESULTS The detection rate of psychologica problems was 20.37%,Gender,family residence,parental health status,interests and hobbies had important effects on the mental health of freshmen.CONCLUSION A variety of Methods should be used to to improve the mental health of freshmen in Independent College.
