Abstract
Objective: To study the causes and therapeutic methods of dysuria after TURP. Methods: 21 cases with dysuria after TURP were analyzed.Results: Among them, 7 cases were bladder orifice stricture, 5 cases were anterior urethral stricture, 5 cases were adenoma left, 2 cases were anterior and bladder orifice stricture, 1 case was prostatic cancer, 1 case was bladder orifice stricture with bladder stone.Different diseases were cured by different methods.Conclusion: Dysuria after TURP can be resulted from different diseases, of which Adenoma left, improper procedures at surgery and urinary infection are the main causes and majority of dysuria after TURP can be cured with endoscopy.
