Clinical analysis of 24 patients with dysuria after transurethral prostatic

Abstract

Objective To study the causes and therapeutic methods of dysuria after transurethral prostatic(TURP).Methods The clinical data of 24 patients with dysuria after TURP were retrospectively analyzed.Results Of the 24 cases with dysuria,9 were caused by urethral edema,4 by bladder orifice stricture,3 by anterior urethral stricture,4 by adenoma left,3 by blood clot or prostate tissue obstruction and 1 by bladder muscle disability.Different diseases were cured by different methods.Conclusions Dysuria after TURP can be caused by different diseases,which could be managed with different methods.
