Abstract

Foreign studies on the effects of agenda-setting in the new media environment mainly focused on two aspects:One is to examine whether media's agenda-setting is functional to audience in this new media context;the other is to discuss intermedia agenda-setting effect in the new media surroundings.Their research indicates that media can still affect public agenda in the new media environment and agenda-setting between traditional media and internet media is effective.
