Clinical evaluation on the effect of target dose of captopril and metoprolol to treat congestive heart failure of dilated cardiomyopathy

Objective To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of target dose of captopril and metoprolol and captopril combined with metoprolol in the treatment of congestive heart failure of dilated cardiomyopathy.Methods Seventy-five patients with congestive heart failure were divided into three groups,25 patients per group,and treated by target dose of captopril and metoprolol and captopril combined with metoprolol respectively.The therapeutic effect,and followed up at 6 to 12 months and 24 to 36 months.Results After 6 to 12 months and 24 to 36 months each therapy was effective than before,but there was no difference between each group(P0.05).Conclusion Target dose of captropril,metoprolol or captopril combined with metoprolol is more effective in treating congestive heart failure of dilated cardiomyopathy.The therapy strategy is efficient and safe.
