Clinical Effect Observation of the Combined Treatment with Captopril and Metoprolol for Congestive Heart Failure

Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of the combined treatment with Captopril and Metoprolol for congestive heart failure.Methods 90 cases with congestive heart failure were divided into 2 groups:the treatment group and the control group.Captopril and Metoprolol were given to the treatment group besides the routine treatment while only Captopril was given to the control group.The curative effect was observed.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 82.20% and that in the control group was 65.00%;the curative effect in the treatment group was significant superior to that in the control group.Conclusions The combined treatment with Captopril and Metoprolol is effective for congestive heart failure and it can improve the heart function,shorten the time for hospitalization,and it is cheaper in price.It is worth promoting in clinic.
