Application of embolization in oral and maxillofacial hemangioma

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of embolization of oral and maxillofacial hemangioma.Methods:Twenty cases of oral and maxillofacial hemangioma were carried out DSA and embolization.The resulting curative effect was observed immediately and more than one year after operation.Results:The effective rate was 95% immediately postembolization and 90% one year after operation.Conclusion:Embolization for oral and maxillofacial hemangioma is an effective method of choice in the treatment of the disease,but the indications for the procedure should be concerned well.
